This describes what information iTrood collects and how it's used.
1. Information we collect
- Account details: name, email, password (stored as a secure hash, never in plain text).
- Purchase and subscription history, needed to grant and verify access to content.
- Basic activity: which titles and releases you view, search, add to cart, or buy, used to show you relevant recommendations and to give producers aggregate performance data.
- For producers: business/profile details submitted with a producer application.
2. How it's used
- To operate your account, process payments, and grant access to what you've purchased.
- To personalize what you see (a "For You" row based on your own activity), never shared with other users.
- To give producers anonymized, aggregate analytics about their own releases (views, clicks, conversion), never your individual identity.
- To send notifications about producers you follow, if you choose to follow any.
3. What we don't do
We don't sell your personal data to third parties. We don't share your individual activity with producers, only aggregate numbers.
4. Payment data
Card and mobile money details are handled directly by our payment processor, Ultraner; iTrood never stores your full payment credentials.
5. Your choices
You can unfollow a producer at any time to stop related notifications. Contact support to request a copy of your data or account deletion.
